ABSTRACT
Objective To check the result of accommodation and fusion among patients with cataract extraction and intraocular lens implantation by using optometry uni and synoptophore, and discuss the recovery of binocular vision function. Methods 42 patients (42 eyes)with unilateral cataract, 40 patients (80 eyes)with binoculus cataract, and 35 gerontal patients in our hospital were chosen from August 2008 to August 2010. We used optometry uni routinely to check objective optometry and binoculus balance. At the same time, qualitatively or quantitatively analyze binoculus simultaneous perception, binocular integration function, accommodation, aggregation, and accommodative convergence/accommodation and so on. Results Statistical analysis showed that three groups were statistically significant in the factors of regulation, regulation near point, positive and negative relative accommodation, accommodative response and accommodative amplitude. No significant difference in the factors of the regulation and integration and the adjustment of the ratio (AC/A). The difference in scope of the integration was statistically significant between three groups of patients. Conclusions After cataract extraction and intraocular lens implantation, either one or both eyes after cataract surgery still retains some ability to regulate, and the integration of certain functions. Binocular cataract group has better accommodation and fusion than the unilateral cataract group, but still exists some difference compared with normal control.
ABSTRACT
Objective To discuss the effect of nursing measure that was carried out among elderly patients during ophthalmological operation under local infiltration anesthesia, in order to improve the quality of nursing. Methods To analyze and summarize the preoperative visit and intraoperative nursing among 251 elderly patients. Results There was no nursing mistake and accident happened in all 251 patients during operations. Postoperative visit showed that there were 216 elderly patients felt very satisfied or satisfied with the nursing (86%), and 16 felt dissatisfied (6%), and 19 lost contact because of discharge (8%). Conclusions There are lots of demands from elderly patients during operation under local in-filtration anesthesia, which are different with others. Particular nursing during operation can make them live through operation safely.
ABSTRACT
Objective To discuss the manifestations of domestic violence and the initiation factors of violence. Methods 62 families whose schcol-age children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder participated the investigation by self-designed questionnaires and the results underwent analysis. Results Among 62 families, 60 families had domestic violence, verbal humiliation was the most common form. Only 2 families had no domestic violence because of recognition of domestic violence harm. 47 families had domestic violence because of academic problems: Conclusions Parents of school-age children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder are lack of correct understanding of domestic violence harm. Wrong education styles are common in poor academic performance of such children.
